Terrington has been developing and supplying customer-focused software to clients where timeliness, integrity and consistency of data are critical to both regulatory compliance and business efficiency for nearly two decades. Based in York but serving a global client base, we have a client portfolio to be envied that we have gained and retained through a mix of pragmatism and flexibility that always puts the client’s needs first.

Such is the versatility of our core Transform product through its easy-to-use client-centric configurability. We have provided applications to a broad church of industries, including chemical processing; food and drink; oil and gas; pharmaceutical and; other manufacturing industries.

All of this is delivered by an established and experienced team dedicated to providing a full service from requirement capture through to life support.

What We Do

At Terrington Data Management, we offer our clients user-configurable software solutions based on our core product TRANSFORM that can be deployed as either a traditional “On-Premise” or Hosted (Software as a Service (SaaS)) installation, all complimented by a full range of services that include: requirement capture, design, systems integration, hardware procurement, installation and commissioning, systems architecture and after-sales support that includes training.

Our Products

The approach we take to developing our products is driven by our clients needs, with an emphasis on providing our clients with the means of configuring the software to best match their business processes rather than the other way around. To achieve this, we always work with industry experts to ensure that our applications reflect the latest best practice and interpretation of applicable regulations.

We also ensure that the product can utilise commercially available technologies such as tablets, pcs, Auto-ID products such as RFID tags and Barcodes and; interfaces to hardware to automate data recording.

We have always focused on quality and are certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, which focuses on quality management systems. This specifies the requirements for a quality management system which demonstrates its ability to consistently provide products that meet customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as enhance customer satisfaction through the practical application of the system.

In addition, Terrington Data Management is certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 27001:2005, which focuses on Information Technology and Security Techniques. This specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within the context of the organisation’s overall business risks. ISO 27001:2005 design ensures the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls that protect information assets and give confidence to our customers.
