“Our operations are of strategic national importance to the UK and focus mainly on the production of chlorine, caustic soda and chlorinated derivatives.  The chemicals produced at the Site are sold into a wide variety of industrial applications across sectors such as water, building and construction, electronics and pharmaceuticals.  As such, it is imperative that we demonstrate compliance with current legislations.

After replacing our old Access paper-based Ex Inspection processes with Transform a number of years ago, we have not looked back.

We have developed a number of other inspection applications using Transform and we have seen year on year improvements, not only in the inspection data collection process and the accuracy of information collected, we have also seen improved efficiencies delivered throughout the full inspection, reporting and fault trending processes.

Overall, we have seen a reduction in total manhours of around 60-85% depending on the inspection application deployed.

We have found Transform to be a highly configurable and functional data management and reporting application, that has allowed the plant engineers to analyse data and close out equipment defects in a shorter time period, ensuring the equipment continued fitness for service.

Transform has allowed the site to easily demonstrate to the authorities that we have improved and continue to be compliant with current legislations.

Over the years the Terrington team have always been available to resolve any technical issues and provide solutions to any problems we throw their way and we would not hesitate in recommending Terrington Data Management to other industries considering the Transform application.”
